Connell Insurance Inc. named three of its employees as partners.
The May 1 promotion of Casey Chastain, Jay Hickman and Tom Jensen more than doubles the partner count at Connell Insurance, which is led by Tim Connell and Randall Gammill, said Dave Koch, a spokesman for the company.
“Casey, Jay and Tom epitomize the diverse talent Connell brings to client service regionwide,” Managing Partner Connell said in a news release sent this week to Springfield Business Journal. “All three are deeply dedicated to providing exemplary service to their clients and will aid in servicing existing clients with whom I will transition to their charge.
“With this transition and a renewed focus on managing and leading the organization versus producing, I welcome them to the firm’s partnership.”
Chastain consults on workers’ compensation, Affordable Care Act compliance and human resources; Hickman focuses on restaurant owners, waste haulers, commercial property owners and fleet automotive clients; and Jensen leads the company’s employer benefits practice, according to the release.
Connell Insurance ranked No. 3 last year on SBJ’s list of the area’s largest independent insurance agencies. The company reported 43 agents, the ranking criteria for the list, but did not disclose revenue.
