Leaders of Congress on both sides of the aisle late yesterday unveiled a $1.3 trillion spending bill.
The bill, which includes an additional $80 billion in national defense spending, is meant to fund the government through September.
The House and Senate have a midnight deadline Friday to pass the bill and avoid a shutdown.
