The U.S. House of Representatives yesterday voted to go to conference with the Senate on tax legislation.
The House vote of 222-192 puts the Republican-led tax reform closer to fruition.
House Speaker Paul Ryan named nine fellow Republican House members to the conference committee. Kevin Brady, who leads the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee, will chair it.
