The project is an 11,000-square-foot infill on the second floor of the building’s west end. There will be a double-loaded corridor – a corridor with access to offices on both sides – that will circle the interior, with offices along the outer walls with exterior windows.
Also included is a large conference room that will seat 35 people. The interior finishes will reflect the historic nature of the building, and much of the original Terrazzo flooring will be retained, said Andrew Wells, architect with Bates & Associates.
The estimated cost of the project is $750,000, with completion slated for Jan. 1.
