Computer glitches delay United Airlines flights

Two separate problems with United Airlines' computer systems caused widespread delays overnight.

NBC News was initially told that 63 flights were affected, but spokeswoman Maddie King later retracted that figure and said it was just "a small number of flights."

One glitch affected United's luggage weighing systems was resolved late Thursday, King said. The other was resolved around 3 a.m. Eastern Time, though she was unsure of its cause.
