Posted online

Businesspeople who want to know more about the issues and ramifications related to computer-chip technology and the year 2000 may want to attend "The Year 2000 What's All the Buzz About?" a seminar presented by S. Scott Hickman, CPA, technology consultant at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, at this year's expo.

Slated for 10 a.m. Oct. 15, this free program will cover year 2000 issues and provide a framework for business owners to deal with the shortcomings of many electronic data processing systems unable to accurately process year-date data after 1999.
