The Nixa Area Chamber of Commerce and Nixa Business Alliance presented the Nixpo Business Showcase April 6 at Nixa Junior High School. From top left: Janet Morris, co-owner of Family Pharmacy, welcomes visitors to her booth with free 2002 personal planners. The weather cooperated for the Nixpo, to the advantage of those with outdoor exhibits. And your mother always told you money doesn't grow on trees! Barbara Johnson, senior vice president of Peoples Bank of the Ozarks, proves mom wrong with the money tree giveaway at her booth. Jeff Teaford and Brian Hughs blow up balloons to be handed out at the First Choice Mortgage & Finance booth. The turnout was high for the one-day event. Marte Norris, owner of Picket-Up gift store shares some of the tasty dip mixes available in her store. At center, Jim Meier, of Jim's Lawn Service, and Jason Miller, of Timberland Landscape and Design, share a booth with each other and a variety of spring plants.[[In-content Ad]]
