Community Partnership receives tax credits for youth program

Community Partnership of the Ozarks Inc. has been approved for $82,402 in tax credits to fund a substance abuse prevention campaign, Gov. Matt Blunt announced today.

The credits are funded by the Youth Opportunities Program, administered by the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

Springfield-based Community Partnership will use the credits to educate Springfield-area youth about the dangers of alcohol and drugs. The program will include after-school activities, weekend alternative activities and a teen coalition for at-risk youth.[[In-content Ad]]
