Dice bar and lounge owners Paul and Peter Khoury worked with Studio V Design on a contemporary Vegas-style décor for their downtown venue. The flooring features specialty paint with metallic chips for reflection, and decorative wall panels provide a focal point behind the bar, said Studio V’s Brenda Van Eps. Lighting includes shaded chandeliers above seating areas and LED lighting around the perimeter and at the bar. There also is custom drapery above booth seating, and furnishings include white leather ottomans and bar stools and black leather sofas. Wood moldings and a granite bar provide traditional touches, and neutral colors are used to avoid upstaging the LED lighting, which can be controlled to shine a single color or to change colors throughout the evening.
