Commercial during Olympics features Springfield distributor

Gower is the focus of one of several Anheuser-Busch commercials that promote the Budweiser brewer’s environmental efforts, according to a news release. The commercials are airing through fall.

Gower’s ad debuts Saturday on NBC and features Wil Fischer Distributing’s use of propane instead of gasoline in some of its fleet vehicles to reduce carbon emissions. The company is the independent Budweiser wholesaler for Springfield. Watch the commercial here.

Other commercials show how Budweiser recycles leftover grain from the brewing process for use as cattle feed, the company’s efforts to reduce the amount of aluminum used in lids, and its support of preserving the country’s wetlands, the release said.
