Commerce Bank expands its online exchange service

Posted online

Commerce Bank has expanded its online foreign exchange services to commercial customers, according to a Commerce release.

Those customers can now access Commerce Bank's swap, forward and spot transactions services via the Bloomberg Professional Platform.

They also can perform foreign exchange transactions directly from their desktops for increased speed and convenience of real-time information and activity, as well as searching exchange rates and transaction services to match their immediate needs.

An additional benefit of the service is increased accuracy.

A blotter record of all trades enables better record-keeping.

"The platform provides the online ability to communicate directly with a foreign exchange specialist from Commerce for additional information or assistance," said Craig Stevenson, senior vice president and manager of Commerce's international department, in the release.

To explore the site, customers must access Bloomberg and then type CBFX<go>.
