Comey says Russia interfered in US elections

Former FBI Director James Comey yesterday testified the Russian government interfered in the 2016 U.S. elections.

Comey described so-called “Russian active measures” that began in summer 2015 and continued through 2016.

He was asked by Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., whether he had “any doubt that Russia attempted to interfere in the 2016 elections."

Comey’s response: “None.”

He also said there's "no doubt" Russian government officials were aware of the hacking activities surrounding the elections.
