Comcast Corp. is in talks with Walmart Inc. to develop and distribute smart televisions, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
Under such a deal, Walmart would promote TV sets running Comcast software and share a portion of the revenue for doing so, the sources said.
A third party likely would manufacture the TVs, and it's possible they would have Walmart branding.
