Comcast Corp. raised its bid for European pay-TV giant Sky PLC shortly after rival 21st Century Fox did the same.
Comcast's latest offer values Sky at $34 billion, ahead of Fox's bid that values it at $32.5 billion.
Fox already owns 39 percent of Sky, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
