Comcast officials say the company has mostly restored service after the cable provider experienced an outage Monday in many major cities across the U.S.
The outage affected most of the East Coast from Washington, D.C., to Boston. It also hit Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston, Denver and San Francisco.
Repairs were made by early afternoon.
The cause of the outage and number of affected customers is unknown, according to CBS News.
