Columbia Regional Airport has been given the green light from the city's governmental body to move forward on a $1.5 million parking lot upgrade.
The airport will pave one of its gravel parking lots through the project.
Columbia is set to receive a $1.3 million reimbursement from the Federal Aviation Administration.
