Columbia considers convention center

Stakeholders in Columbia are considering the development of a convention center in the city.

A feasibility study has been conducted by Texas-based Conventions, Sports and Leisure International. The study estimates a cost of up to $160 million for the convention center.

The project is still in the idea phase.
