Colorado weed sales hit record high

Sales of legal marijuana in Colorado hit a record high in 2019.

Revenue topped $1.7 billion, a 13% jump from 2018. Sales had slowed to 2.5% between 2017 and 2018.

Tom Adams, BDS Analytics managing director, said the sales growth could be attributed to lower prices for flower, or cannabis bud.
