Colorado firm takes minority stake in Vital Farms

Colorado-based Sunrise Strategic Partners made an undisclosed minority investment in Texas-based Vital Farms.

In a statement, Vital Farms officials said the investment would allow the company to "support the brand's network of family farmers and to invest in infrastructure to help bring the best eggs to more consumers at an affordable price point".

Vital Farms currently is building a plant in Springfield's Partnership Industrial Center West.
