"I want to assure All-Star's customer base that we are committed to providing excellent levels of service and value as we attempt to build on the legacy of the Berkmeyer family."

Collegiate Awards will continue to fulfill all orders from its Springfield office at 1801 E. Trafficway St. Berkmeyer is slated to stay on board in a consulting role.

With the acquisition, Collegiate Awards gains company experience dating back to 1971, when All-Star Trophy was founded by Rick Berkmeyer, according to the release.
