Rick Singer, the mastermind of the college admissions scam known as Operation Varsity Blues, has been sentenced to prison.
He was ordered to spend three and a half years in jail.
Singer was the central figure in the scam involving wealthy parents paying to cheat on standardized tests and bribe university officials.
