Mercy Springfield Communities' new chief medical officer says herd immunity may be on the way this year for COVID-19, but an annual booster shot is likely to combat the virus.
If there is so much confusion from the new Assessor's system, how do we know if we were assessed correctly? Can we have some check done on the Assessor's new system to make sure it i correct? Maybe it's done by DVS.
That's too bad. To me, she really made a difference. The whole office is pleasant as it could be. She made it fun to pay too much real estate tax.
I will miss the humorous, fresh breath that Ms. Betts brought to the office in the communications to the public. Others might follow her lead....You will be MISSED!!
My statement was one of the ones mailed out that had incorrect or missing information. I called the assessors office to get it straightened out and was told the problem was a new software the assessors office is using. The staff was very friendly and helpful and this was resolved very quickly. I believe the software issue should have been mentioned in this article.
