More than 1,000 workers at two CNH Industrial plants in Iowa and Wisconsin went on strike Monday.
The workers in Burlington, Iowa, and Racine, Wisconsin, are seeking better pay, among other measures, according to the United Auto Workers union.
"Our members at (CNH Industrial) strike for the ability to earn a decent living, retire with dignity and establish fair work rules," said Chuck Browning, vice president and director of the union's Agricultural Implement Department.
