CMS proposes less than 0.1% increase for Medicare Advantage

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has proposed a 0.09% Medicare Advantage payment increase.

The relatively flat increase would be for 2027 and follows a 5.06% rate hike finalized for 2026.

CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz said the "proposed payment policies are about making sure Medicare Advantage works better for the people it serves."
