CMH shakes up home health, hospice ownership

Citizens Memorial Healthcare has transferred ownership of its home health and hospice services to its foundation from the hospital.

Citizens Memorial Home Health and Citizens Memorial Hospice, which moved to the CMH Foundation effective today, are keeping their names intact, according to a news release.

“This change in ownership is simply a strategic move to align all post-acute services under one entity,” CMH CEO Donald Babb said in the release.

The Bolivar-based health care system's home health unit provides service in Benton, Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Hickory, St. Clair, Greene and Polk counties. Citizens Memorial Hospice provides services in the same counties, except Benton County.
