Clinton-Trump debate proves combative - but provides no knockout

Posted online
The second debate between presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was highly combative. However, those expecting Trump to switch gears or even be knocked out of the race likely went away disappointed, according to an analysis by NPR.

The debate brought up the fallout from a tape released Friday in which Trump made controversial comments about women. Trump apologized and called his words "locker room talk," before fighting back with allusions to the sex scandals of Clinton's husband.

The debate also put focus on Clinton's email scandal, Trump not paying taxes and more at Washington University in St. Louis yesterday.

Trump said if he were president, he would appoint a special prosecutor to see that Clinton goes to jail over the email issue.
