Clear Creek Golf Car & Utility Vehicles is undergoing a leadership change.
Brian Cheever said he exited the CEO role on May 1, when two co-presidents took over regional jobs. He said Justin Fraker is now president of the east side of the company's territory, including seven stores in Arkansas and Missouri, while Shawn Anderson, who resides in Oklahoma City, is handling the west side with three stores.
Cheever said Fraker and Anderson are partners along with Jerry Marti in the company, which is buying out Cheever's stake. Cheever has moved into a sales role at the company.
"I have no intentions of retiring any time soon, but I did want to take that first step, which is what this is for me," Cheever said via email. "I’ve led the entire business, east and west, for 19-plus years, and we’ve done some amazing things together along the way."
Clear Creek currently has around 150 employees in four states and 10 locations.
Cheever said the two new co-presidents bring a welcome perspective to the company.
"I sincerely believe that with Justin, Shawn and the young talent surrounding them, they will lead Clear Creek far beyond where we are today," Cheever said.
Clear Creek was founded in 1983, according to past reporting.
