Cleanup for Ferguson-area businesses begins

Posted online
Following a chaotic evening of protests, looting and lawlessness, an O’Reilly Auto Parts store on West Florissant in Ferguson was looted – one of many to fall victim to outrage that sprung up in the absence of an indictment on the officer who killed Ferguson teen Michael Brown in August.

At least 15 businesses in the area were damaged or destroyed by fire, not counting those looted, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

However, on Nov. 25, hundreds of volunteers showed up to help in the cleanup and recovery efforts.

Last night, unrest continued with further protests, according to the Post-Dispatch.
