C. Jay Wynn of CJW Transportation Consultants LLC and John Bolte of Tri-State Engineering Inc. are the engineers for a signalized intersection at East Seventh Street and Geneva Avenue in Joplin. McPherson Development Co. of Topeka, Kan., is the general contractor for the $500,000 project for developer Jim Kelley of MRV Inc. The intersection will serve as an entrance to the existing Target store and new Kohl’s commercial development. The Missouri Department of Transportation relocated Geneva Avenue on the north to align with Geneva Avenue on the south. The signal will be interconnected with signals at Rangeline and Seventh Street, Rangeline and Fourth Street, Rangeline and Mall Road and Rangeline and Turkey Creek Boulevard.
