City seeks volunteers for sign-code task force

Posted online
Springfield business owners and operators are being sought for a special city task force that will make recommendations about rewriting the city’s sign code.

The volunteers will be asked to serve on the task force for about 10 months and provide feedback to Springfield City Council about the code.

Participation is limited to Springfield residents and people who own or operate a business within the city. The size of the group is not limited.

Volunteers will be accepted through Oct. 6. Attendance is mandatory at the first meeting, but that date has not been set.

Interested participants can call (417) 864-1031; they will be notified when the first meeting is scheduled.[[In-content Ad]]
