Citizens National Bank has announced its intent to add a fourth facility in north Springfield.
According to a CNB news release, the new bank will be located at 2960 E. Kearney, across from the Missouri De-partment of Transportation.
CNB's newest full-service bank will offer all banking services and products including consumer, commercial, and real estate lending; depository services such as free checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and money market accounts; investment services; safe de-posit boxes; an automated teller machine and online banking.
The new bank will be approximately 3,500 square feet in size. It is being designed by architect Ken Smith. Con-struction on the new bank will begin by early summer, the release stated.
Citizens National Bank was founded in 1989 by local bankers Frank Hilton and David McBeath. Hilton serves as CNB's chairman and chief executive officer and McBeath is the bank's executive vice president.
Since its inception, CNB has grown from $2 million to more than $165 million in total assets.
"We have been working for over two years to find just the right location that fits our long-term growth strategy ," said President Joe Gaunt.
CNB's other locations are at 3212 S. Glenstone, 4221 S. Campbell, and 1465 E. Sunshine. CNB's "virtual bank" is found online at www.cnbnetbank.com.
