Citizens Memorial opens $9M ambulatory surgical center

The two-story, 40,000-square-foot facility houses outpatient surgeries and specialty offices for general surgery, orthopaedics, outpatient rehabilitation, pain management, rheumatology, sports medicine and urology.

The surgical center has two endoscopy rooms and four surgery suites. About 150 endoscopies and more than 250 outpatient surgeries are performed each month, according to a news release.

Also nearing completion is CMH’s new cancer center, which is expected to open in July, the release said.
