Citizens Memorial Healthcare to hire 40

Bolivar's Citizens Memorial Healthcare is slated to host a job fair this weekend in an effort to add 40 new employees.

CMH spokeswoman Tamera Heitz-Peek said the health system is looking to increase its current payroll of 1,750 employees. The health system is seeking employees for positions including registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, physical, occupational and speech therapists, paramedics, and lab and radiology workers, according to a news release.

The hiring event is scheduled 2-6 p.m. March 28 and 9 a.m.-noon March 29 at Citizens Memorial Hospital, 1500 N. Oakland Ave. in Bolivar.

During the event, candidates will be interviewed by department directors, talk with human resources representatives about benefits and apply for sign-on bonuses, the release said.
