While home values nationwide are still down 13.5 percent from their pre-housing bust peaks, prices in these major housing markets have recovered and then some, according to a CNNMoney report citing Zillow.

Dallas:

Current home value: $143,200
Housing boom peak: $146,300

Houston, Texas:

Current home value: $156,100
Housing boom peak: $142,100

Denver:

Current home value: $245,200
Housing boom peak: $235,700

Pitssburgh:

Current home value: $118,900
Housing boom peak: $107,300

San Antonio:

Current home value: $153,700
Housing boom peak: $145,500

San Jose, Calif.:

Current home value: $759,100
Housing boom peak: $742,000

Austin, Texas:

Current home value: $221,300
Housing boom peak: $192,600
