Cisco Systems announced the selection of Mark Patterson as its next chief financial officer.
Patterson, a longtime Cisco employee who most recently has served as chief strategy officer, is scheduled to become CFO on July 27. He'll succeed the retiring Scott Herren.
Cisco also announced the appointment of Jeetu Patel as president in addition to his chief product officer role.
