I am a legal assistant to Thomas M. Benson, a partner at Lowther Johnson, Attorneys at Law LLC and I do a variety of law work for Mr. Benson, which includes drafting documents, typing, speaking with clients, setting up meetings and conference calls, tracking all deadlines and, best of all, working for a professional and client-oriented boss.
What drew you to a career in the legal field?
I have always been interested in law and the justice system and was given an opportunity to work for a law firm 13 years ago and I still enjoy working for a law firm to date.
What are your biggest challenges with your job?
One of the greatest challenges is making sure all legal documents are finalized in a timely fashion due to time limitations and presenting them to the attorney and/or client.
