Project description: A new ambulance station in Sparta is planned to replace and relocate an existing station of the Christian County Ambulance District. Project officials say the building will feature two drive-thru ambulance bays to accommodate current and future fleet needs, as well as one wash bay. There will be dedicated crew quarters, training and meeting rooms, administrative offices, a fully equipped kitchen and a day room. Design options include a helicopter pad, an additional ambulance bay and a community room.
