The U.S. Department of Justice yesterday announced Chipotle Mexican Grill would pay a record $25 million fine.
The fine is related to the company's role in outbreaks of foodborne illnesses at its restaurants beginning in 2015.
It's the largest fine in history for a case related to food safety.
