Chipotle to pay fine to settle child labor violations

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. agreed to pay a $1.4 million fine to settle claims it violated child labor laws.

The company allegedly allowed minors to work later than Massachusetts law allows at 50 corporate-owned stores.

Chipotle additionally agreed to donate $500,000 for educational programs on child labor laws, as well as training for young workers.
