Chipotle Mexican Grill filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Sweetgreen.
The lawsuit alleges Sweetgreen’s “Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl” is being marketed in a “very similar and directly competitive" way to that of Chipotle’s chicken burrito bowl.
