Chipotle reopens Virginia store after norovirus scare

Chipotle announced it sanitized and reopened yesterday a Virginia store where customers became ill.

The store in Sterling closed temporarily following a "a small number of reported illnesses" attributed to norovirus, company officials said.

"It is unfortunate that anyone became ill after visiting our restaurant, and when we learned of this issue, we took aggressive action to correct the problem and protect our customers," CEO Steve Ells said.
