Jianhua "Jeff" Li, a Chinese national living in the U.S., was sentenced to 37 months in prison for a scheme involving imported counterfeit Apple products.
Between July 2009 and February 2014, more than 40,000 fake products, including iPhones and iPads, were smuggled into the United States.
More than $1.1 million in proceeds were wired to overseas accounts controlled by Li.
