Chinese investors pen $4.4B deal for Caesars' online games

A Chinese consortium that includes game developer Shanghai Giant Network Technology and e-commerce company Alibaba Group Holding founder Jack Ma agreed to buy Caesars Interactive Entertainment Inc.'s online games unit.

The deal is valued at $4.4 billion in cash.

The games unit currently is owned by Caesars Acquisition and Caesars Entertainment.
