Chinese firm purchases majority stake in gay dating app Grindr

A Chinese online gaming company is hooking up with the popular gay dating app Grindr.

Beijing Kunlun Tech Co. disclosed today it is purchasing a 60 percent stake in Los Angeles-based Grindr for $93 million.

Grindr has a user base of more than 2 million daily in 196 countries.
