Chinese educators tour OTC campuses

A delegation of educators from China are in southwest Missouri today to visit Ozarks Technical Community College and learn about American education.

OTC formally invited the delegation, which includes members of the Shanghai Municipal Education Committee, the chief of the Shanghai Educational Technology and Equipment Department, the president of the Shanghai Economic Management School and the vice president of Shanghai Harbor College, according to an OTC news release.

The visitors were scheduled to meet with OTC President Hal Higdon this morning and tour the campus, and they will visit OTC's Branson Education Center this afternoon.

While in the U.S., the delegation also will be reviewing the overseas internship program for the Shanghai Circus School and attending the circus school's graduation ceremony.[[In-content Ad]]
