Zong Qinghou, the billionaire founder of one of China’s largest beverage makers, has died. He was 79.
Zong died of an undisclosed illness, according to his company, Hangzhou Wahaha Group.
Zong is known for growing his soft drinks empire from a tricycle cart into a conglomerate.
