Chinese automaker Geely Automobile Holdings is looking to compete with the likes of Tesla with the introduction of a new brand of luxury electric vehicles.
The brand, dubbed Zeekr, is targeting the third quarter this year for its first deliveries.
Tesla recently reported sales in China more than doubled last year to $6.6 billion.
