China’s trade surplus with the United States rose to a record high in September.
The surplus was $34.13 billion, compared with $31.05 billion in August, according to Chinese customs data.
For the nine months ending in September, China's trade surplus grew to $225.79 billion from $196.01 billion a year earlier.
