China suspends planned tariffs on US goods

China suspended tariffs on some U.S. goods that were scheduled to be implemented Dec. 15.

The decision was made after the U.S. and China entered a Phase I trade deal on Friday.

In exchange, the U.S. plans to allow more purchases by China of American farm products and other goods.
