China posts slowest annual economic growth in 25 years

Amid global market jitters, China has posted its weakest annual economic growth in a quarter century.

The country's gross domestic product increased by 6.9 percent in 2015, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics.

The country had targeted 7 percent growth.
